Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Owl Ahead, published by AA-BI Solutions, Inc. under the Via Verde Studio name. By using the app, you acknowledge these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Driver-awareness tool only

Owl Ahead provides optional, general driver-awareness information. It is not a navigation system, legal authority, emergency service, collision-avoidance system, or substitute for attention, judgment, posted signs, signals, official directions, road conditions, or applicable law.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for operating a vehicle safely, remaining attentive, selecting a lawful speed, obeying all signs and laws, and deciding whether app information is appropriate to use. Do not view, configure, or operate the app while driving when unsafe or unlawful.

No guarantees

Features, alerts, maps, locations, distances, speed limits, schedules, calendars, enforcement status, zone boundaries, and other content are provided “as is” and “as available.” They may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, delayed, duplicated, or unavailable. No alert, timing, coverage, accuracy, availability, or result is promised.

Information may come from public, governmental, school, map, third-party, or internally reviewed sources and may change without notice. Coverage is limited and is not nationwide.

System limitations

GPS, sensors, permissions, Apple services, connectivity, audio and notification settings, background execution, battery state, hardware, vehicle systems, and operating-system behavior can prevent or delay information and alerts. Posted signs, signals, official directions, and applicable law always control.

Owl Ahead Premium

Premium is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. If Apple shows that you are eligible for a 14-day free trial, the trial begins only when you confirm the subscription and converts to the selected monthly or annual plan unless canceled before the trial ends. Eligibility is limited to one introductory offer per subscription group and is determined by Apple.

Apple charges your Apple Account at purchase confirmation and on renewal at the price and interval shown before purchase. The subscription renews automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel in Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals and Premium remains available through the current paid period, subject to Apple’s policies. Refunds, billing recovery, grace periods, and payment disputes are handled by Apple.

Third-party services

Apple MapKit and other Apple services are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices. Owl Ahead is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any school, school district, government, law-enforcement agency, transportation agency, map provider, or data source.

Assumption of risk and limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume risks arising from use, nonuse, or reliance on Owl Ahead. Via Verde Studio, contributors, and data providers disclaim warranties and liability for citations, fines, penalties, collisions, injury, death, property damage, missed or delayed alerts, data loss, or other loss or damage.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. These Terms apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Changes and contact

Features, data, and these Terms may be changed or discontinued. The effective date identifies the current version. Questions can be sent to ajanovicado@gmail.com.
